Books , Podcasts, Blogs, Other
Hello 👋 I'm Jordan and I've been diagnosed with MS in the past couple of weeks. I'm trying to process the news but I'm feeling pretty good at the moment. I'd like to gather more info about MS and living with MS. What books, podcasts, blogs etc. would you recommend? 😀
Hi. Not too many at first. I remember being diagnosed (in the dim and distant past) and it goes through your head every 3-5 seconds if memory serves. These days - when I am not working on the MS YouTube channel I run! - then I can go at least 60min. When I as dx'd there was next to no internet and easy access to info via phone/laptop. With hindsight a good thing. Reality is that there is stuff everywhere. Sear for: Prof-Gs MS Selfie Aaron Boster MD (an MS neuro in the US with a super channel) on YouTube There are tons of individual accounts but beware as they are one person giving an understandably biased view of their world. Don't think what happens to them will happen to you necessarily. I did a video with Aaron Boster about 5 tips for the newly diagnosed on https://youtu.be/zEobZffhr9I I am actually working with a global policy forum atm to try and tackle this thorny question. It would be v interesting to hear your experiences in several months time. Would you mind DMing me? Thanks.
