Thoughts please

So my husband is taking my kids and his mum out today for a walk round a park that he knows is not suitable for my scooter. He suggests me waiting in cafe for them. It is his birthday next week (47!)) and his mum wants to see him for birthday. Am I being unreasonable to feel really pissed off about it? They are going for a meal after. Should I stay at home and miss out or go along and hang around on my own until they have done the walk? I am pleased he is taking the kids out because I can’t but I know he is mainly bothered about pleasing his matriarchal controlling mil and I’m second best . I know it is hard and he feels caught in middle but I wish he could be a bit more compassionate to me . 😩

Hi Helen, hope you are ok firstly. It is very difficult sometimes to find places suitable for scooters and access for people with Disabilities. Is there another park to go to close by. I sometimes have to meet up later with my family as I want them to do it and it’s sad we can’t all be together for everything. Keep your spirits up. Free for a chat anytime. I have PPMS. Diagnosed in December 2023

Personally I would say f**k him and go and do something that I wanted to go and do and sod what everybody else thinks that's me to be honest..... But that's my own personal opinion so no one take it the wrong way lol
