Hello, new member just saying hello.
Hi guys, my name is Francis, from West Yorkshire. I joined this group/community as my mum has Primary Progressive MS. She was diagnosed in 2005 but had symptoms for about 6 years before the diagnosis. I'm her full time carer.
I've been following the Shift MS twitter account for a few weeks now, it's absolutely brilliant. I've learned a lot there, along with my mum. I'm looking forward to interacting with others here, sharing my own experiences as a carer, along with my mum's experiences. My mum is a bit impatient when it comes to these kind of "internet thingymajigs" so she asked me to join here.

Hello @frankyjack, nice to meet you and your mum! How lovely that you’ve joined on her behalf. There are lots on here, including myself, for whom this has been the maiden voyage into social media. This is a great site for sure. There are quite a few on here from up north! There are folks here with PPMS from around the world. @Vixen Thanks for the suggestion, I just checked it out and pinned our location. There's a few folk around the local area. What a great feature to have :) I've given my mum the password and all that so she can log on using her tablet. She's not the most patient device user, but she will try.
