Plantar fasciitis

Hi, Does anyone had plantar fasciitis? I really want to get rid of it. I have been told it does not develop as a symptom of the MS, but rather as a result of walking-related issues. Pain started almost two months ago but I was trying to ignore it. Now it's painful every day. I have been at the GP. I'm using naproxen, few physio exercises: facia massage - rolling a ball under the foot, ice pack, two exercises for stretching and one for fascia strengthening. I would really appreciate if someone would like to share own experience and ideas on how to get rid of it effectively. xxx

Hi, I'm just (hopefully) getting to the end of my experience with plantar fasciitis, so I feel your pain. I stupidly ignored it for months until the pain became constant rather than just at the start of each day. Exercises from GP like the ones you mention didn't seem to help, so I ended up going to a podiatrist and it's been so much better. They gave me some shoe inserts to raise my heels (which made walking pain-free with shoes on, such a relief), and a different exercise to do, aimed at fixing the problem. It's been six months of gradual improvement now (they did warn it's not a quick fix) and it's almost entirely gone. Hope this is useful info, good luck

@emma1

I had surgery which didn't help it was podiatry that helped but it took a long time. Hope you get help soon.
