Stiff neck/head pain

Just looking for some advice.. i hope you are all in good spirits! I was diagnosed 7 months ago, I was told I have had ms for the past 10 years. I am recenty experiencing stiffness in my neck and the back of my head,I’m not sure if this is a ms symptom. Has anybody elae experienced this? Not sure where to go from here- i am finding myself questioning every little thing 🥺

@crazylady , MS is capable of causing us all kinds of sensory issues in all areas of our bodies.

But stiffness in that part of the body could be down to tension. You know, keeping your shoulders tight and hunched up. Try letting your arms go floppy to address this possibility.

@crazylady I was the same too up until few weeks ago while getting a massage it was a killer so she had to do a lymphatic drainage massage as loads of blockages in neck . I found it helped me gonna book another one after Christmas

Just to add to the above replies, it’s maybe tension caused by stress in other parts of your body – a kind of referred pain. If it persists after trying massage as suggested I’d be inclined to go for a neuro physio assessment – to check whether there’s an underlying misalignment or weakness going on in another part of your body.

Thank you for your responses! Working 40-45 hrs a week doesn’t help either. I had a massage done before and it seriously hurt even more. I’m thinking I maybgo to a chiroprator see if he can help. I seem to be popping pain killers like candy recently lol
