Lemtrada and new symptoms

Hello I had my Lemtrada back in 2017-2018. I’ve been feeling ok not good. But it keeps me going still you need to know how you feel when you get up in the morning. But, I still have that buzz feeling like I had a 2 shots of Patron and on an empty stomach. It is really frustrating to have this water filled head every day. If you get what I’m saying. My question to all do you feel like you have water inside your head and you feel buzzed ? Also I just found out that I have Lhermitte’s Phenomenon. I felt like I was developing super powers because the pain and electricity ran from my shoulder down both arms to my fingers. I thought electricity was going to shoot out of the tip of my fingers. I emailed my Neurologist that’s how I found out about LP (Lhermitte’s Phenomenon) But I just take my MS as my other personality the good day buddy, my yeah I’m ok kinda day, my I’m on fire day which means somewhere on my body is being lite up on fire and my favorite one is the “IM TIRED I JUST WANT RO BE LEFT ALONE MOOD” I tell yah i have 4 personality 🤔😔🥺☺️ But you learn to live with it.

Hi @sdudley76 and welcome. Lemtrada is like all other Disease Modifying Therapies (DMTs), their purpose is to stop further MS deterioration, moving forward. It's not a cure and it won't repair existing damage. Having said that, once the brain is no longer actively attacking your Central Nervous System (CNS), it may have some spare capacity to start trying to repair itself. This all depends on how much spare Neuronal Reserve you have available. So, focus on the positives, are you still deteriorating? If no, then try and encourage your brain to fix the historical problems, by allowing it some downtime through the day.
