Hello

Hello to everyone, I have just joined you. I was initially diagnosed in 2009 with ADEM & thought it was benign MS. I have had ongoing symptoms over recent years which led to a recent MRI showing multiple lesions. The Consultant has diagnosed MS and referred me to Queens Square in London. I have been taking Pregabalin for approx 2 months & the pain is subsiding. It’s lovely to join you all & I wish you all the very best. Karen

Hi Everyone

Thanks for welcoming me to your site. I was surprised at how many lesions I have had over the past 10 years and look forward to discussing this further with the Dr’s at Queen Square in August. I did have a good meditation practice which seems to have waned and I am also looking to get back in to mindfulness. KC

A particular question to Stumbler, how does this site work?

Hello @kcshea, welcome to Shift. There was recently a post on here recommending a particular Yoga clip on Youtube, suitable for folks with MS. London is great for having so many hospitals, so you’re in the right place! Do you think you’ll b starting a DMT? By the way, if you want to respond to a post, just put @ in front of their name and they will be alerted via email πŸ™‚

@kcshea , this site is very much what you see. It’s a very informal environment, so if it feels right then do it.

If you go wildly wrong, someone will help. But it’s all straightforward really.

Do shout out if you have any specific questions.

Good Morning

Wishing you all well on this lovely day.

A friend recommended the Wim Hof method which is rated as good for auto immune diseases, has anyone else tried? I am on week two..

Karen
