Hearing loss

I have been diagnosed with relapsing and remitting MS nearly 2 years ago the main problem was my deteriorating vision EG blurring along with balance and fatigue. Around the same time my hearing also started to decline. I was given hearing aids from the NHS which are behind the ear the problem is it is SO artificial in sound with constant hissing noises. I wonder if anyone knows of any in-ear aids that are not too expensive? Many thanks Hilary

@hilaryk0757 , on the basis that hearing problems aren't that common with MS'ers, I'm not sure how many responses you will receive. You might get more specific information by joining a forum for those with hearing difficulties. There's a few suggested on this website :- https://www.hearinglink.org/connect/blogs-forums/hearing-loss-forums/ However, you may want to speak to your Hearing Consultant first, as Tinnitus is one of the problems that MS'ers get, which might account for the constant hissing noises.....
