funky shoes!

Sorry lads- just needed to add a quick post for the girls out there looking for friendly summer shoes! I recently moved down to London and am about to start my first ever commute on the tube and was paranoid about losing a shoe jumping on and off the train. I'm also recovering from a relapse and can't wear anything that isn't firmly strapped to my foot! I discovered some really nice shoes in Decathlon (French sports/outdoor shop- several around the UK and online) which are great! they're lightweight ballet pump style, with thin velcro straps to keep them secure, incredibly comfortable and come in a range of colours and patterns for those wanting coordination! They're £25 and I'm already planning a second pair. For some reason the UK website isn't listing them yet but they are in store and called "Baoma". Can heartily recommend!Never successfully managed to add a weblink to a post but if anyone wants more info let me know and I'll drop an email or something! xx

Hmm all I can say.. I like my shoes. And I'm a bloke... And I find getting shoes that fit a pain in the.... Here's a song about 2 shoes, from those funky Cats of the Empire http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fJU79dmVgZY&feature=colike

@Becks

this sounds really sad but just popped into the local stead and simpson shop and they had loads of flatter type shoes - most with straps too - i'm the same they need to be firmly strapped to my feet - and they weren't frumpy either - i know i didn't believe it myself either!!!!! and they are around the £18-£30 mark so pretty reasonable - keep scuffing my left shoe due to foot drop so don't want to spend a fortune each time on new shoes - have got stocked up on several different pairs whilst theyy still have them :-)
