Botox therapy?!

hi All, just wanted to ask if anyone’s had Botox treatment for their bladder? If so can you tell me the pros and cons as I’ve been advised it would be beneficial but quite apprehensive about the procedure

@pelican , I'm on this treatment. Presently, I get/need it every six months. Does it work? I should say so. It gave me back my life by stopping my bladder ruling it. I'm male, so the procedure of injecting the bladder is a bit more complicated (it's the extra plumbing involved!). I started getting it under general anaesthetic, which was logistically challenging (pre-op appointments, etc). I now have it under a local anaesthetic, which is quicker and more convenient. You may have an need to use Intermittent Self Catheterisation (ISC) after the procedure - a simple price to pay.
