@gemma-marie_haldane , any one who is being investigated for a progressive medical condition is likely to have to deal with depression. See your doctor and discuss whether a short course of anti-depressants may be in order. There's a fair few of us that take anti-depressants as part of our management protocol. It's nothing to be ashamed about.

Hello @gemma-marie_haldane. This is a horrible time and is hopefully a one-off. You need answers, then you can develop a plan. So for now, you need all the help and support you can get. For many people, treatment for anxiety and depression is quite standard while you go through this. Don’t do it alone, accept any help offered. Can you have a chat with your doctor about suitable medication? Some types have a bonus effect on MS symptoms too. Whilst waiting, make sure you eat healthily and exercise as much as you are able.
