Any teeth grinders out there?

I'm a teeth grinder, and sometimes it is worse than others, particularly if I'm having a relapse (not sure if it's cause or effect). Anyway, 2 years ago I paid £150 at the dentist to have a mouth guard made to stop me from grinding in bed (phnarr phnarr). It definitely worked, but after a few months my spaniel managed to steal it from the bedside table and chewed it beyond recognition (still love him!). Anyway, long story short, been grinding badly again, and it turns out you can buy them online for a tenner!!! they come as a generic mouth guard shape, you pop it in boiling water for 20 seconds, then mould it against your teeth (upper jaw). Had a decent nights sleep last night and woke up with a nice relaxed jaw. Just thought I'd share in case anybody else is a grinder x

Hello @elisabeth_turner Im a teeth grinder and do have a mouth guard from my dentist. Did not realise I was doing this until I had my dental check up. If I look at my teeth I can see where my upper teeth were grinding my lower set. I was considering going back to the dentist to ask for another one but I might look online instead now. Thank you

@nutshell OMG yes so do I. Sort of underneath my molars. Sometimes it's so loud my partner can hear it. It's in time to my heartbeart!
