New lesions (MS relapse symptoms masked by infection)

Today found out I have new lesions. Last year MS nurse and l blamed relapse symptoms on my regular urinary tract and kidney infections. How do you spot MS relapse symptoms from infection symptoms that affect MS?

I don't think you really can, particularly when treating an actual infection. My last lesion was only found early on because I DIDN'T have any infections, and my neuro sent me for an MRI right away.

I have this too. I've had a recurrent UTI and every time, it sparks up the MS stuff. It's hard to know if it's a pseudo relapse or a real one. The MS team told me to report to them every time it happens, and I leave myself in their hands. I'm not sure what else I can do.
