Thoracic Spine MRIs?

Hi I am wondering if any of you have a routine/annual MRI on your Thoracic Spine (T Spine)? I have annual MRIs of my head and neck (c-spine) but never the Thoracic Spine. I find it odd as that was where most of my lesions were located when I was diagnosed. If you are checking for progression why wouldn’t you look in the place that had the most lesions in your baseline MRIs? Any insight? What has been your experience with T-SPINE MRIs?

Hi, from a fellow Canadian! I find I’m the one that has to ‘remind’ my neurologist about getting an updated MRI. And my last one didn’t have contrast so I must have forgotten to add that in the request 🤔

I was diagnosed in 2012, and it wasn’t until 2022 that my doctor ordered one. Granted, I’ve moved a bit and have had 7 different doctors in three different states but at least three of them sent me for multiple MRIs and never ordered it. Maybe someone else will know if it’s something new they are looking for…
