Saw my MS nurse a week ago, we agreed I will start Tecfidera for now and see how things go. So, all I have to do is get a blood and urine test. Simple, right? Wrong. Thanks to the NHS in my local area, I can only get a blood test by booking online. The next appointments in all three local hospitals aren't until mid June! I'm so frustrated. We're going on holiday in a couple of weeks and I was really hoping to get everything ready to start treatment as soon as I got back. There's nothing I can do about it, and no way to sneak around the system. Now everything is getting set back another few weeks again. It feels so frustratingly slow, and every week that ticks past I'm more scared of having a relapse. It's coming up on a year since my last major relapse and I just want to get on treatment to slow down whatever bullsh*t my immune system is getting up to in there. Grrr.
