Paediatric MS Nurse - questions?

Hi all, We have an MS Reporters interview coming up with a Paediatric MS Nurse from GOSH and would like to hear what questions you might have for our MS Reporter to ask them. We haven't covered the topic of paediatric MS before so we hope to create a set of useful and insightful resources for children with MS or parents of young MSers to benefit from. If you were diagnosed under the age of 16 years, what questions did you have at the time that went unanswered? Or what questions did you ask at the time and think it would be useful for others to hear the answers you heard. Please share this post with any young people or parents of young people you know. Thanks Sarah

After my first relapse at 14 I was diagnosed with acute disseminating encephalomyelitis, which is "MS-like". After my second relapse at 19 I was diagnosed with RRMS. Speaking to other people who were diagnosed young, others have had similar experiences. If early treatment is so important, why do doctors diagnose things that are "MS-like" in children, without treating for possible MS?
