nervous!
hey everyone..im feeling nervous..I'll be starting lemtrada.. but i feel its a big risk even though they've said im good to get it started... can anyone whos had lemtrada tell me about it and how you felt during the drip and the after effect.

Finished both rounds of Lemtrada about 2 months ago and honestly, the build up towards the infusion is much scarier than the infusion itself. During Round 1 the side effects I experienced were; a headache, a rash, insomnia and fatigue so nothing major and most, if not all, cleared up in a matter of days. Round 2 I experienced pretty much the same side effects except with added metalic taste in my mouth and increased pulse rate, again everything cleared up in a matter of days. So far, all my blood tests have come back fine and I haven't had any relapses and no new lesions on my recent MRI. I've had bad days where my symptoms have flared up and I've been moody but thats all part of life with MS so its just learning and taking it day by day. Best of luck and I'm sure you'll be fine.
