cannabis and Sativex
My MS nurses keep telling me the effect is psychological but, it aint, I stood upright and moved a distance without my crutches yesterday, on sitting down my right, the deader leg, bounced and twitched away merrily. I have it on good medical authority from my London trip that cannabis will be good for my movement. Some one I know pays for Sativex by private prescription and is offering me a sample, so wish me luck.
Good luck with the sample. You will get varying advice from different medical professionals. My neurologist will not condone its use but does admit that a very high number of people say it can be beneficial. You can even find people like someone I talk to in the states who shuns all proprietary medicine and uses only cannabis to manage her symptoms. I use cannabis daily to manage my symptoms and you will find a lot of people with MS who do the same so good luck with the sample and listen to your body in terms of benefits or positive effects.
