new here, new diagnosis.
Hi, have just had official diagnosis and starting treatment in a weeks time 🤞 any way head is still all over the place, any advice or words of wisdom. bit scared, also self employed & terrified about the money side of things as well has the health side. Any tips or advice would be greatly recieved, planning a trip to citizen advice soon. just wanted to say Hi 👋 I have no idea what's happening 🥺🤷🤦
Hey! I’ve just had my first treatment, it really is fearing the unknown, but what helped me is reading a lot on these ms support groups about how others endure it, how they cope etc, it’s so helpful. Are you having the treatment at the hospital? If so, it’s a relaxed atmosphere, you may feel a bit weird the first time. I’m not going to lie, I was terrified, but they do settle you down and answer any questions that you might have. I was even reading and having a cup of tea while I was having my infusion lol!! You will be just fine, if you have any questions feel free to ask me. 🧡
