Tecfidera

I started Tecfidera last week. First week was 120mg. This week I started the higher dose. It's so hard to not know what to expect. I'm not having flushed side effects, but I'm not feeling great. I don't know what is anxiety, what is MS, what is medication side effects. This is hard...............

I've been on Tecfidera for a few months now, I recently started getting real flushes every now and then... they're annoying, but nothing that can't be handled, and that's the only side effect I have ever had with it. I think another common side effect is stomach issues, but if you didn't have that yet, then you probably won't get them, since that is something that mostly just happens in the beginning while your body gets used to the meds. So seriously, tecfidera isn't something you need to worry about. But to the 'not feeling great' part.. well of course you're not. It will take some time to get used to this illness. I'm around 9 months post diagnosis now.. so I can say it gets better.. Find a healthy way to cope with this.. and you'll be good! 🧡

@adamslilith Thank you so much for responding. I've heard of all of the side effects that you listed. I'm not really having any. I was flushed the first time I took the lower dosage. But nothing since then. I was diagnosed last month. I just want the sensations to go away.
