Can I ask if anyone has had a 7T MRI scan if so what ear protection were you given? Thanks

I have had 7T MRI scans as I agreed to take part in a study over the past12 years. I just get 2 felt/rubber pads. My scans last about 30 mins Yours may last for a much shorter time.
The scans length depends on what your having scanned ie just head, just cervical spine or both. Scans can last anywhere from 20mins-45mins. And you can be given disposable ear plugs and/or headphones depending on practice & sound level of scan when operating. You can also request music to help soothe you if your anxious or having spasms. I find the vibrations & noises of the scanner a bit like amsr but distanced. Quite gentle and nothing to worry about check out utube for videos of mri scans and amsr vids so you know what to exspect - promise you will be fine good luck & take care of you. 🍀🤞👍✊💪😊
