Pregabalin Withhrawal
Is there someone who are dependent on Pregabalin? I have had the worse night ever. Taking Lyrica (300mg) for approx 10 years every day in the afternoon you would think you will not forget to drink it..... I forgot! Only after 12:00 I fell ill with cold/hot chills, cold sweat, pain, shivers, not a place I don't hurt (even the shower water touching my skin hurt) :-(
Yes, I once ran out of pills for the weekend and thought, “no big deal”, I’ll be fine. NO YOU WON’T! Right, it wasn’t too long after missing the first dose that I was absolutely miserable. Chills, sweat, magnified PAIN, and agony in such a way that you probably do anything for a pill. Gave me new appreciation for what drug abuse withdrawal is like. Good to know if you ever are going to stop taking a medication like this, talk with your doctor and let them help you wean off slowly. On the upside- I guess it works better than I sometimes think. Doesn’t take all the pain away, but certainly is helpful!
