Re-Brand?

Definition of dementia: Dementia is a loss of mental ability severe enough to interfere with normal activities of daily living, lasting more than six months, not present since birth, and not associated with a loss or alteration of consciousness. Doctors trying to re-brand MS as dementia? Any thoughts?
@Stumbler

@tinam , well, they're both neurological conditions. Do we bundle all conditions that affect the brain? Perhaps we should rebrand Neurologists as Dementiarists?

@merfield

@tinam, in my book definitely NOT the same. So yes, I have thoughts: The definition is nowhere near precise enough. @stumbler is right to treat it as a joke...seriously though: it can't possibly be deemed to be under the same banner, even though we feel a bit demented sometimes lol. Xx
