Migraine or optic neuritis

Im so tired of this eye ache its been a while since last time and now here it is again šŸ˜£ I have no idea if its migraine or its optic neuritis. I use blue light blocking glasses on daily basis but my job is mostly with pc and itā€™s super painful to look at the monitor :( any tips for me?

Hi I am a migraine sufferer have been since my teens but 8 years ago I got Optic neuritis which is when I got my ms diagnosis. The drs were treating me for migraines for a week and wouldnā€™t have it that this pain was different until I more or less demanded an eye exam. When I get migraines now I do worry that optic neuritis is returning but fortunately it hasnā€™t so far. The difference in pain for me is migraine is a stabbing pain focused to one area, optic neuritis was agony when moving my eye (looking side to side). Hope that helps, Iā€™ve found Triptans to be helpful for migraines and dr put me on Nortriptyline 75mg it doesnā€™t stop them but I get fewer. Good Luck, Sam x
