Confused...
So last week I met my neuro. He said the MS nurses will call me and arrange an appointment within the next 2 weeks. Today I receive a letter for a neurology outpatients appointment but its under a different consultant.
For the UKers out there, is this normal? I was kind of expecting a nurse to call me.
Totally normal I’m seen by a neuro who runs neurology in 2 hospitals. I’m seen by him and nurses at my local hospital but have pharmacy consultations & meds come from clinic of another neuro at a different hospital nhs funding, postcode lottery etc
Ahh ok. This is the same clinic I went to last week which is why I got confused. I searched the clinic online and the MS clinics are on a different day. Maybe this neuro might discuss medication with me as my last one said 'I don't deal with that, the MS nurse does'.. pretty much to everyone question I asked. He also didn't know how many lesions I had. I told him.. despite him apparently 'reviewing my mri'
