Mayzent (Siponimod)

Hi I’ve been on Brabio since 2019. My consultant has recommended I move to Siponimod. I’m concerned about the side effect risks. Can you share your experiences of taking Siponimod? I was diagnosed in 2003, even though my last MRI scan didn’t show any new lesions, I occasionally get a new symptom of left foot drag. My current symptoms are right foot drop and knee buckle, fatigue, brain fog, sensory overload. I understand this drug can help brain function as well.

Hi @TJGordon <watches thread> likewise my neuro has suggested Siponimod and as a result I had the Novartis nurse here on Friday doing all the bloods, ECT etc. prior to hopefully starting soon (apparently a good couple of months).

I’ve just had a chat with my MS nurse. I was offered Siponimod last year but decided not to change my current medication. I’m freaked out by the side effects and these seem pretty scary. Good luck.
