Focus group in London

Hi Everyone, As part of my MS advocacy work I often come across opportunities that might be of interest to other people. If there's anyone here who has been in a clinical trial then you might be interested in this opportunity to attend a focus group below (which I've been asked to share among my networks). It's asking people to look at and comment on a new patient platform that has been developed to make the clinical trials process more patient-friendly. If you're interested, could you share your email address with me so I can add you to the list of participants? You must have previously participated in a trial but NOT currently be active in one, and you must be able to get to London relatively easily (reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed but they can't cover overnight accommodation unfortunately). Thanks! Trishna xx DETAILS: -Hilton Paddington from 2pm to 4pm on Thursday November 9th 2017 (fully accessible) -Refreshments and snacks will be provided -A stipend of £100 will be paid on the day and reasonable travel expenses reimbursed -Participants need to have participated in a clinical trial before BUT should not currently be active in one Focus group purpose: -Listen to patients that have previously taken part in a clinical trial about their experience (how they became involved, how they were informed & supported throughout) - Identify what worked well & what didn't or what could have been improved to make the patient's involvement easier - Discuss if technology advancements could have helped to support them on their trial journey -Show the company's patient platform and discuss if it would have been a good tool to have on their trial

@T , with all due respect to you, could you provide some official details, e.g website, for this? ** NOTE FOR ALL ** It is not good practice to divulge personal information without verifying the requestor's authenticity.

Apologies @stumbler , I didn't realise my profile was still so sparse and just realised that people might not know who I am and therefore might be reluctant to find out more! My bad. The focus group is for a company called Longboat www.longboat.com and I said I'd disseminate the information among my networks as people might be interested to get involved. I love taking part in things like this because it's a way of having an influence in improving patient experience. If anyone is interested they can send me a private message - I wouldn't expect anyone to post their email address publicly (just as I haven't here!). If you'd like to know more about me then you can see who I am here: https://www.mssociety.org.uk/ambassadors www.facebook.com/trishnabharadia2015 I'm hugely active in the MS community (been diagnosed for 9.5 years) and would never ask people to get involved in something that I wouldn't myself be happy with participating in. Just to put your mind at rest! xx
