Slurred speech

Hi all. 7 years ago my first ms symptom was my speech slurring. 7 years on I feel like my speech has never been the same as before I got diagnosed. However everyone around me says nothings wrong with my speech but I feel like they don’t understand. Has anyone else been through the same? And did you start taking speech therapy?

Yes I was really bad in 2019 ehenni got diagnosed I still suffer with slurred speech but mainly when im tired xx

Hi, I think I have the opposite problem. I think my speech is fine and everyone tells me that I am slurring my words. I guess speech issues are common in MS. I’m going to guess that the brain is telling you one thing and other people another. Perhaps a SLT (speech and language therapist) might be helpful. All the best.
