So now I need a place 🤬😞🤬Fast!

Landlord just found out that my daughter is part of the lgbtq community and my partner is black and she now can’t extend our lease and wants me and my daughter out, I am bedridden it’s going to be impossible to find a place and need a lease or lose most of my universal credit. So if anyone has any ideas we are in Chelsea London and about to be on the street which is rough when your usually in bed

I'm not sure the answer but call citizens advice about this n see if they can help. Hopefully they offer advice re the landlord n maybe the council i can't remember which a friend went to for a bad landlord but just do both n cover ur back to get the help Ur landlord cant evict u on those grounds Goodluck

Definitely speak to citizen's advice, if you have proof that your landlord is discriminating against you because of race, sexuality or gender you might have a case. Your local authority should help with your housing needs if you are unable to move from your bed. Definitely get on it ASAP, there's support to be found, a call to your local council and citizens advice is where I'd start. Good luck 🤞❤️
