Parking permit
Just wondering if anyone else has had issues obtaining/renewing their disabled parking badge/permit? I got one a couple of years ago and have been trying to renew it since January and they have decided to not renew because apparently I don't need it anymore? Not too sure how they came to this conclusion as I haven't spoken to anyone...the only change in my circumstances is that I have started working but still not sure if they had access to any information that would tell them that.
Crikey @Saif97 that's perplexing! I have yet to renew mine, but hopefully others on here will have some sound advice. The badges are issued by the local council I think, they most definitely need to justify that decision... Crazy stuff
@RenEgaDe, I live in Ireland so I think it's the DDAI that issue them here! Called the number on the letter anyways and apparently the new criteria states that you have to be permanently unable to walk more than 50 meters to obtain a permit/badge now. Hopefully my doctor's feeling nice enough to write them a letter!
