Ask for help before it's too late, Even when near the end, Shout, do something to bring attention, It's what I had to do, I could have carried on, I could have ended it all I wanted to, but didn't want to.. I don't know where it came from, But it came and it was so easy, Thankfully I was awaken from my stupor, Jesus reached out to me his child, It's not your time, shout out, I did shout out and was rescued, I'm still here so I must have a purpose, I need to know that, for me, for my loved ones, But why was it so easy, so consuming, so dark? In the deep darkness there was still light, The light of Jesus Christ, He has saved me and he can save you, Despite what I am going through, Despite the depths I go to, There is always his light, and a way out, But the way out is through the light, Not the darkness.
