Excercise, for non sporty person. !!

Hi all, I haven't ever been a fit person, but I feel it's now vital that I keep active a least twice a week. As in the past year or so my weight has increased and being 4'11 this is not good for me. And other than that I need to stay active as I don't work as much anymore. I would do swimming as I have bad soles on my feet, but the local pool is not to my liking so I'll have to just save that regime for when I go on holiday ! Anyway, if you are not into sport etc, like me, well you may like using the wii ( games system ) to keep active. I haven't used mine for years but got it out of from its layer of dust and find it fun to do and it's so convenient as you can do it at home. Whenever you want ! I have one game that is called " active personal trainer " where you can do jogging, squash, squats, boxing etc. You can choose what you do and for how long. I have done it twice this week and twice last week. And haven't got bored yet. That's good for me as I don't like excercise. You can buy the wii system ( white box you plug in with remotes and controllers ) and the games for cheap prices now on eBay and on Amazon. As it's an old system. It's great so give it a try. I've just ordered a tennis game...for only 5.00! Oh and i love doing the yoga on it too. You can also get a wii board that is like a small white step to aid you with many of the games, as it weighs and tracks you etc. Any questions I'm happy to chat. Xx Love to you all xx ?

My son left his WII console behind when he moved, so I bought all of the exercise discs and board and tried it. Didn't work for me, I did it very poorly and then I was weak and hurt for two weeks. I'll stick to the exercises my physical therapist gave me to do. Potter
