Will my kids get MS?
I have been recently diagnosed with CIS. I read a couple of posts about people's parents having MS and now they do. Is it automatic that if a parent has MS a child will also? What testing can be done on children to determine whether they will have the disease? Very stressfull to think about your kids getting this.
Don't scare me I have 2 boys when I had MS the doctors told me that there is NOWAY The boys can have it. This is. Touchy subject and a scary one too.
@pigecan This always troubles me to. Some of my medical possie agree with that, but far more of them disagree. But I do seem to notice that there's ppl on shift that have relatives with ms. I also know there's a woman that lives 2/3 miles from me who's daughter and grandson have it. My son's right arm twitches quite bad. He dosnt appear to notice it. I do. It's probably nothing at all but it still does cross my mind. It is a worry. Ms has alot to answer for. ? xxx
