MS and Work (ps Im new)

Hi Everyone, Recently diagnosed with MS. and dont know what to make of it; most people say "my pal has had ms for 30 years and they're fine working and living etc" while the MS Society website video paints a somewhat dreary picture. A big hurdle for me at the moment is getting back into work. I was working with the council as a cook but had to leave due to symptoms. Could people share with me what sorts of jobs, occupations, etc suit people with MS?

Hi and welcome I'm a industrial electrician. Find it hard some days and think about a change of career. But I love my job and am going to fight to keep working for as long as I can. If you have job satisfaction it does help I think

Thanks Bungle. Indeed, job satisfaction is key; my mission is to find something satisfying. Did like being a chef (for a while) but Im not capable of it anymore. Im good with children, been looking into jobs working with children (nothing so far). Also looking into being self employed, but see that as a classic non-starter.
