I think i'm in the minority that it doesn't effect ( yet....) was at the beach all day yesterday and have been the last 3 weekends. When I get hot I take a dunk. If I need to be cooler I take my board out to the deeper water where it's colder :)

Being an American, I'm blessed with central air conditioning. I just don't go outside! Dog needs out? Attach his cable and crack the door open just enough for him to squeeze through. Stand there and watch until he's done. Need to get the mail? Well, I'm not expecting any packages and I pay my bills online, so it can just sit in the mailbox until the weather cools down. Have to mow the grass? Nah. The neighbors are used to mine being much higher than theirs. I usually do manage to get outside in the evenings for a bit. My back porch has shade and (usually) a steady breeze. I never had A/C until about 15 years ago, and I never understood why people raved about it. Now, I never want to live without it again. It's made such a difference to my health.
