So Annoyed
So today was my 1st appointment at MS clinic i had been waiting 2 months for this, I had received my copy of the letter my neurologist sent to my doctor and at the bottom it say, "As you know he is due to see the special MS clinic, I will arrange for them to see the results and images of scans as well."
Well Got to see specialist and he had not received anything. He basically just done some tests and said sorry without seeing the scans there is not a lot i can do. Told me to keep my stress level to a minimum and rest as much i can and he will try to get them sent to him...
STRESS level what the ... its through the roof now. I have had to wait for this appointment and get someone to drive a hr to get there. I am FUMING.
Got it off my chest now. At least they did take blood to see what medication i can and cannot take...
I'm not surprised you're fuming, @lite . With incompetence like this, you can understand where the NHS is spending all that money. I mean, you can get an e-mail to the other side of the world in seconds! I'd have a chat with your GP and see what they say about this.
Yes, it's ironic that we are all supposed to avoid stress and that the people who are supposed to help us are the ones causing it! I have had problem after problem with my doctors surgery, a combination of incompetence and complete lack of empathy! I would love to change to another one but the one u want to go to isn't taking on any more patients. Hope you have managed to calm down a bit now!!!
