Ocrevus

Hi guys I have my 1st Ocrevus treatment coming in a few weeks. I work in a clinical environment and wondered if: 1) I need to be careful a few days after the infusion to avoid infections on the wards, or does it not matter. 2) from experience should I look to ask for the next day off / work from home or are you back to normal by then? Thank you

Being treated with Ocrevus does affect the immune system, and makes us immunocomprimised. Can you speak with occupational health? They should be able to help. You may need to reduce what you expose yourself to. Good luck.

Hello thanks for your reply. I suppose I didn’t worry as I have been on Aubagio for years and have been fine. Just worried about the steroid part of it all really and the fact it’s a big dose in one go unlike the tablets
