Numbness in face

Annoying more than anything, it feels like my face is drooping near my cheek and mouth but it isn't when I look in the mirror. I'm so bloody stressed out, it seems like one new symptom after another right now. I know that stress doesn't help, and I have a toddler to look after. I just want to cry. I'm sick of it all. Just needing a bit of a virtual hug or a stern 'man up' talking to. Kat x

@katniss , annoying symptoms like this are the body's way of telling us we're upsetting the MS. You just need to acknowledge this warning and see if you can tweak your schedule to give yourself a bit of me-time and pamper yourself. You may also want to tell your MS Nurse that you have this going on. You're right, stress is a definite no-no and should be avoided. Stress has absolutely no benefits, so is best avoided to negate the risk of the associated disadvantages. I'm not harsh enough to give you the stern "man up" lecture, but you can have as many hugs as you like. :wink:

@hollylb10

I often get the same sensation. I actually had jaw surgery in early 2012 and had temporary nerve damage, so I would put it down to that but 3 years on I am thinking it must be MS! I will give you a virtual hug from one mum to another coping with this stupid disease :) x
