Sudden Tinitus and Hearing Loss?

Hello, I am currently awaiting an MRI to determine if I have MS. I have been experiencing a lot of symptoms associated with MS and my GP has prepared me for the outcome of my MRI confirming MS. However I have started experiencing bad tinnitus yesterday morning in both ears but far worse in my right ear. I thought rest would help but I have been to bed and slept on and off, unfortunately waking this morning to almost no hearing in my right ear. Has anyone else experienced this please
@lemon

I've had it and it was simply a blocked ear in my case so it doesn't have to be MS related. But I would say it's definitely something you want to report back to the doctor and find out what's causing it. Take care, going through investigation is really stressful x

Hi @jodszS my last relapse (which was 2 months!) started with being mostly deaf in the left ear but brought other symptoms with it, such as pains and strange sensations on the left side face. This didn’t affect my right ear though. It definitely wasn’t an infection and too much of a coincidence that the rest of my body began to fail spectacularly around this time!! It cleared after about 10 days by itself with no after affects but I’m putting it down to a symptom not an attack. All the best with your MRI xx
