Endep & Gabapentin

Hey just wondering if anyone else has been recommended either Endep (Amitriptyline) or Gabapentin for nerve pain? My Gynaecologist has recommended Endep for my Endometriosis BUT didn't want it to interfere with MS and has asked me to chat to my Nuerologist about it (which I will) but just wanting to hear some personal experience if you've taken either and noticed a difference:)

Hi,, sorry to hear about your nerve pain. I've been on both for my nerve pain. Amitriptyline left me going mad (my med notes now say don't give this man Amitriptyline - gremlins don't feed after midnight style!). Gabapentin worked for a while after that, but then left me unable to sleep. I'm now on pregabalin, this so far suits me (3 yrs).

Sorry you’re dealing with two painful illnesses! I’m on Gabapentin and Diclofenac for nerve pain. Those keep the worst of it at bay.
