2nd MRI

Hi all, I've received notification for my 2nd MRI (1st was 2 years ago) and this time it looks like it requires an injection of some dye for the examination (spine cervicothoracic, head with contrast, spine cervical with contrast and spine thoracic with contrast). A little anxious as the dye has the potential to cause kidney problems. Where do they inject...arm, back...? Any known side effects or experience of this procedure? Many thanks.

Hi. I had the dye injected into my arm, luckily had no side effects they just told me to drink plenty of water to flush it out of my body.
