Prolapse in the knee and hip problem

Hi, Got prolapse in the knee and problem with the hip. Just feel like my hip is more and more effected by that knee. The spasticity clinic was giving me some gabapentin and I was on that schedule when you are gradually increasing the dosage. But I feel like gabapentin is not helping at all. Also I'm waiting two month for the physio. I wanted to ask does anyone else had that kind of problem? I would like to focus on my hip an that knee. It feels like soon I wont be able to walk at all. Constantly I need support and walking is very hard. I limp too because of that hip and knee. Many thanx xxx
@SIMONA2

HI I am trying to come Gabapentin because of side affects like swollon legs plus i can feel my muscles tighting up which in turn my mobility has got terrible

@kersh100

I’m in same situation and same meds (Tecfidera) but I take Gabapentin for neuropathic pain, it doesn’t help my spasms at all. I briefly tried Baclofen on top but no difference. I have had 2 Orthitics for foot drop but they weren’t suitable, while I wait for the next one (NHS) I have decided to go to a private orthotic clinic. My hip and knee are starting to hurt because my gait and centre of gravity are out of line. I just want to stand up straight and get walking , with a walker most likely (Trionic Veloped) I just want to walk and move. I use a small electric chair for work because I keep tripping but I am so determined to move I’ll try anything. I find stretches are good for the spasticity I use tension bands while I watch TV 🤩. Just keep moving in any way you can keep your circulation moving and muscles active. You’re not alone, keep looking for small wins. Everything helps
