What a dayyyyy

Was in hospital today from 10 am to 5 pm had a eye evoked test then was the MRI and lumber puncture the MRI was awful was in there a hour and half as had a panick attack half way through when they switched on this cooler where it was cool air or like air conditioning blowing so strongly up my nostrils and mouth it was so close and in that small confide space took my breath away and felt like I couldn't breathe, and cause I wriggled so much screaming turn off the fan which took them ages to realise what I was saying, they had to repeat some of the test I've never had that before in a MRI, I'm a very calm person, next comes the lumber puncture had 2 doctors try to get the fluid from spine saying sometimes we just can't get it, and was unsuccessful, so now they want me to have a X Ray assisted lumber puncture, which could take months for waiting time, more waiting time again😬
@Stumbler

@melmel1 , I'm sorry that you had a bit of traumatic experience with today's hospital tests. You do need to speak up next time if you have any concerns with your ability to handle these tests. You wouldn't be the first to require some form of mild sedative to help get through these tests.

@melmel1

@stumbler it really was traumatic today, I never thought to ask for sedatives, was one of those days felt so tearful when I left hospital trying to be strong just got to me today and LP was not successful. X
