Ocrelizumab

Hi folks Is there anyone on here that is on Ocrelizumab if so what are your thoughts on side effects and the drugs effectiveness Thankyou in advance 😃
@DominicS

@mouse19 Regarding efficacy: the data would suggest that - assuming it is not contr-indicated for you - it is one of the best vailable DMTs Prof Gavin Giovanni, and others are following, advocates getting in with the most efficacious drugs as soon as possible. (see the ECTRIMS interview with MS Reorter @longboat) Ocreluzimab is indcated where Alemtuzumab is contra-indicated. Like you, I am now being considered for it. I had to give 7 different vials of blood the other day to cover all the bases! It is very new in use in the UK. There is one person ahead of me in Oxford, I am aware of only a few in Bristol, so very very new. Hey! I’m on it and doing great so far. I’ve only had my first two half doses at the end of September, but I feel great and I’m doing so much better. My walking and fatigue has really improved. I haven’t had to use my walker since the infusions. I know many people on it and they all love it so far as well. I chose it because it has the least amount of side effects compared to what was offered to me and I have aggressive ms so I needed a bit more of an aggressive treatment. During the first half I did have some minor infusion reactions, just an itchy head, but it’s common and they’re great at taking care of it right away and I had none during my second half. Hope that helps. Best of luck!
