Increased tone

Hi everyone, it has been a long time since I have been on here. I was wondering if anyone could help me please. So I went to see a consultant about my options for meds, at present I only qualify for the injectables. I will be having an up to date scan to access this and make a decision. In my examination she said she could not find anything apart from being a bit on the jumpy side when doing my reflexes - not surprised one bit as I am extremely jumpy. She also mentioned in my letter that I had ‘increased time at both ankles’ what does this mean?

@hollylb10 Hi and welcome to the club 😀 From reading your post.... Now I'm not a doctor but I think I can put it in to a little more understandable words based on how it was explained to me. Jumpy= your reflexes are fairly swift I almost put my foot in his face when they done mine . Increased time well that could be how long it takes to move your ankles up and down naturally. Tap my reflex points it's of the scale but ask me to do it I really struggle. Mine don't work too well on my right side.... it's a bit of struggle to lift my foot up naturally...... unless you tap it with a hammer then take cover.. Hope that makes some sense 🤗 Please feel free to ask anything you like we'll try and find an answer one way or another. Welcome again 😀
