Fingolimod
I’m starting new treatment on the 25th of July fingolimod. I’m changing from capaxone due to a relapse in January. Has anybody got any issues with fingolimod?? Iv read that it makes you feel horrible for the first couple of weeks??

Hi @stacey, Been on Gilenya/Fingolimod for about 3-4 years. Have had no side effects or relapses till date. My readings after the 1st 3 months showed a higher liver enzyme count and that normalized after the 6th month check. I've had no visual issues while being on it. My lymphocytes count is lower but is expected as the way Gilenya works. My frequency of falling sick has gone up slightly compared to before but can live with it. And no, was feeling very normal in the 1st couple if weeks!
