Back in hospital

At this point I have to just laugh. I was in hospital last week, was diagnosed with MS. Discharged last Friday, put on steroids while in hospital, symptoms cleared up by Tuesday and I woke up this morning with a very, heavy arm with horrible cramps and pins and needles. Tried to contact enable but nobody was in office (this was at 10) also tried my gp, couldn't be seen to so called 111 and was brought into hospital again by an ambulance. What an absolute nightmare. I feel fine however, just incredibly uncomfortable with horrid pins and needles on my arm and at this point seems to be spreading down to my leg. Wish me luck guys!
@Stumbler

@sdkpi , the Steroids can give you a fairly immediate high, when you feel great. However, this is short-lived and is followed the the "Steroid crash", which brings you back to earth. But, the Steroids will initially address the inflammation on your Central Nervous System (CNS), causing this relapse. Then, they will be working with your body over the ensuing 6-8 weeks, to help you recover. Although, you must rest up to allow this recovery to happen. So, let's hope that this latest visit to Hotel NHS is short-lived. Best of luck.

@BULLMAN

@sdkpi Sorry about your hospital stay. Hope it’s short lived. One of the 1st things i did after dx 17 years ago was to start high dosage Oxygen therapy (hdot). I feel it helped manage the symptoms.
