Is anyone here on Gilenya?

Hi all, I haven't been on here in a very long time! I was just wondering who on here has managed to get on Gilenya? I managed to get on it, after a lot of hassling my local NHS trust, as their roll out of the medication was a total joke...I believe they now have a regular clinic though. Has anyone been affected by any side effects? I felt generally really tired in my first month or so, and it took me two weeks to get rid of a cold, but aside from that, I much prefer it to Rebif (which made me feel 10x worse!)
@Stumbler

Gilenya has been much discussed on the forum, e.g. https://shift.ms/topic/gilenya-weakness-fatigue/ . But, use the search, the magnifying glass (top left) to the left of your avatar and you can search on "Gilenya" and see all the recent activity. :wink:

@Tibs74

hi, I have been on it since Jan 2013 and was one of the 1st groups I think! I was previously on Avonex for about 5 years but got immune in the end so had to go on Gilenya (Fingolomod) as I had no active lesions at the time. I much prefer it to stabbing my leg with a needle, but had a bout of time with severe anxiousness and struggling to breath properly and now I have been blessed with another pain in the neck symptom of MS ....Lhermitte’s phenomenon. I am not linking the 2 but I had not heard of this electric shock gem until I had it and now realise that it is quite common in MS - funny at first but it's now really not doing me any favours!
