Fampyra side effects

Just received my trial dose of Fampyra. Took the first tablet and felt dizzy, nauseous and headachey. I didn't take any more because I was going away for the weekend and didn't want to spoil it. I want to know if I start taking the tablets again are the side effects likely to ease if I persevere. Does anyone have any experience of this?
@Sewing-chick

When I took Fampyra, about four years ago, I did really well on it. I didn't feel ill at all and my walking speeded up a lot. Two other people I knew started on it about the same time. One saw no improvements and the other got better at walking but got excruciating headaches. They both stopped taking it and I carried on. My walking then deteriorated much faster than theirs. After something like two years on Fampyra, it started to disturb my sleep and I stopped taking it. I wish I had never taken it, I think I would be in a better state now. Here's information about Fampyra that I wish I had read before I made the decision to take it: http://multiple-sclerosis-research.blogspot.com/2015/01/clinicspeak-fampridine-trial-results.html

Thanks sewing-chick. That's given me a lot more information and more to think about.
