How Long Did it Take to get Diagnosed?
It's a very long time ago now but everything happened all at once. I hadn't even heard of MS but within a couple of days, I'd had a lumbar puncture and been told my diagnosis!

I had symptoms, mainly fatigue, weird pains, burning joints, on and off for 10 years then finally saw a neurologist this year and got a diagnosis last month so it took a long time, a lot of doctor’s appointments and different specialists before even being referred to neurology
I hear of people waiting a long time for a diagnosis so often: I can't imagine how you must have felt wondering what's going on and having no answers! Did you not have a lumbar puncture? What did the doctors say when you asked them? It's nearly 40 years ago when I was diagnosed and I think i would have gone crazy knowing something was going on but not knowing what! Funnily enough, it's now that the doctors, neuros etc. ignore me. I haven't seen a neuro for ages and I just have to get on with it! Mariibar, I hope you're being kept in the loop better than me! Good luck!
